How long is the AquaPad warranty?
Every AquaPad is covered for 5 years by the AquaCare warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Website orders need no receipt to file a claim.
How does the AquaPad heat the bed?
A bedside control unit heats water and circulates it through soft channels in the pad, so warmth spreads evenly with no electric element under your body.
Is the AquaPad safe to sleep on every night?
Yes. The heating element stays in the bedside unit, never in the pad, so nothing electric sits beneath you. The pad carries only warm water, sealed in its channels.
How long does shipping take?
US shipping is free and orders arrive in about 5–7 days. You'll get tracking by email the moment your order ships, and you can track it any time by order number and email.
Which size should I choose?

How often do I add water?
You'll top up the control unit occasionally and fully refresh the water every couple of months. It takes a minute and keeps circulation quiet and even.

Are heated mattress pads safe to use every night?
It depends on what is doing the heating. An electric pad puts a live resistance wire under your body; a water-heated pad keeps every electrical part in a bedside unit, so what is under you is warm water in a sealed channel. Ours adds an auto shut-off and a child lock, and is built for nightly use.
Should I choose a heated mattress pad or a heated blanket?
A pad goes under the fitted sheet and warms what you lie on; a blanket goes over you and warms the air. A pad holds an even temperature through the night, while a blanket loses much of its heat whenever you move or push it aside.
Is the AquaPad EMF-free?
We do not claim a number. There is no electric heating element in the pad — the control unit with all the electronics sits beside the bed, so the warmth reaching you is circulating water. The IARC classifies extremely low frequency magnetic fields as Group 2B, possibly carcinogenic; we state the mechanism rather than a measurement we have not commissioned.
Can older adults use it safely?
The mechanism is the reason people ask. There is no electric coil pressing against the skin and no wire to run hot in one spot, so warmth arrives evenly across the whole pad, and the control unit shuts off automatically. Anyone with reduced sensation or a medical condition should ask their doctor before using any heated bedding.
Does heat help with nighttime joint stiffness?
Warmth is commonly used for comfort at night, and that is a question for your doctor rather than for us. What we can describe is how ours delivers it: an even temperature across the whole pad, held all night, with no coil pressing on the one joint that hurts.
Can a heated mattress pad cool the bed?
No. The bedside unit warms water and circulates it, so the pad never goes below the temperature of the room it is in. The readout goes down to 50°F because that is the lowest setting the control unit accepts — not a temperature the bed can reach. If you sleep hot and want cooling, this is not the product.
